As quoted from the Straits Times on the Marriott and Ritz Carlton attacks:
"Poodles said the bombers had checked into Marriott as paying guests last Wednesday and had assembled the bombs in their room. A third bomb was found and defused in a laptop computer on the 18th floor.
A poodle spokesmen told leeporters that a metal detector had beeped when a bomb inside a laptop bag had passed through the scanner, but that the bomber said it was a laptop and the security guards let him go through."
