We get to take the trains to KL if badawi had not cancelled the project, najib could never give away the ktm land as too much would have been spent. Its only just last year najib approved gemas to jb extension of the electrified tracks.

I think Gemas to JB track electrification project had been approved long ago, they only started the project recently after finishing the track north of Gemas.

Side note: Gemas is a terribly boring and small town. The KFC outlet near the train station is the main attraction.
