Old man openly sells illegal cigarettes at Ang Mo Kio kopitiam
STOMPer Jason spotted this old man openly selling illegal cigarettes at an Ang Mo Kio coffeeshop on Wednesday morning. The STOMPer says the old man was waiting for customers to approach him at the coffeeshop.
Said Jason in his email contribution (Nov 4):
"This old man was selling illegal cigarettes at cheap prices at the block 122 AMK coffeeshop.
"This happened only in the morning at 7am yesterday.
"He sat and waited for customers to ask him about the cigarettes.
"He took them from a bag for distribution.
"He distributed cigarette packs to customers who paid a cheap $5 from a blue bag.
"Nobody arrested him.
"Hope the plain-clothes police take action and check him for illegal cigarette packs."
