Is thailand really such a big fan base for them?

I have noticed that quite a number of k pop groups do stop overs in thailand. Once in the airport i was told by one of the airport staff that 1 k pop group was going to come and all the fans were waiting for them. Told me it was rain but later found out it was some other group.

Of cox, many Thais travels to Korea because no need visa, Thai need visa to go to Japan and mostly got rejected because of sex slaves, so Korea is the 2nd best. And Thai population is 69 million leh, not like SG 4.9 million, LOL

Ok lor. I was just curious that korea had that many fans from thailand. I would have thought most of their fan base would be from the east asian countries.

I don't really think they have that big of a fan base in western countries just only the korean populations from those areas.
