did anyone know that koreans give toilet paper as housewarming gifts?

i didn't and only just found out.

my korean neighbour was stuck in the lift at 7.30am this morning. and i called the lift guys, who only came 45 mins later to pry open the lift doors.
in the meantime, the poor guy was panicking slightly, so me and another resident kept him company outside the lift door.

he just gave me some chocolates AND a 5 pack of kleenex tissue boxes as a "thank you" and i was thinking what a weird thing to give....

he knows singapore culture use toilet tissue to chob

You should reciprocate his generosity and give him a box of condoms.

Say 'nida nida' when you give it to him.

toilet rolls and kleenex tissues are not the same. toilet paper breaks apart easily when wet in order to prevent clogging. tissue paper will choke your toilet bowl. to reduce plumbing problems, clean kar chng with toilet paper and throw inside, clean cheebye with tissue and throw in a bin outside. :o

wah you so high class?

use kleenex tissues as toilet papers?

now i finally understood why toilets in arabians peninsula airports has pails with papers inside and it never smelled of shit.

really looked yucky when you see used papers in the toilet cubicles.
