The body, which was removed from a patch of bushes, appears to be that of a shirtless man wearing a pair of dark-coloured shorts. The Straits Times understands that his hands were bound.

Meng, you'd better own up...

Some more is in a forested area....

I can send in some monkeys to these forests but judging from the pic...it looks like the road after Singapore Armour Centre ... I don't even dare to drive there

Very nice kampung-style road. Would look much better with less lamp posts and electric/phone cables suspended in mid-air.

Ever since they converted the small HDB estate Neo Tiew Village to their SAF Fibua area, the place is so deserted...

Body of man found in Lim Chu Kang related to missing person's appeal by police

A body was found on Wednesday at an area off Lim Chu Kang Road, near Sungei Gedong Camp.

The body, which was removed from a patch of bushes, appeared to be that of a man who was wearing a pair of dark-coloured shorts. His shirt appeared to be rolled up to his neck. The Straits Times understands that his hands were bound and his body did not appear to have any major wounds.

Police officers were at the scene at about 7pm, combing the grassy area, which is off a dirt track.

The police said in a statement that a 53-year-old man has been arrested in the case, which is believed to be related to a missing person's appeal made on Monday.

Singapore is such a safe country, I feel so safe already. ;)

Happy new year!
