Why do people bother paying attention to an opposition fella with no seat in parliament? He is just living off the past glory of his late father.

Flogging a dead horse to gain media attention. I guess the foreign press may be interested.

Wow...M. Ravi got money to rent Stanchart office space ah ?

No seat in parliament, but still doing service for Singaporean. Why not.
As long as opposition doing its part to balance and check on PAP is good enough.

This is not about past-glory nor about an opposition with no seat. Granted he is trying to elevate his position, but do you bring him down for defending what he believes in? In fact, everyone should learn to question and not just accept blindly like the 60% of our compadres.

I feel that what he is doing is good because there are many politically apethetic people around and attention to such incidences may jolt them into realisation. It may be this event, it may be others, but we have to start somewhere.

He is insulting the opposition MPs and making a fool of them.
I think he is crazy.

the man walks the talk. ....he's got more balls than most sinkies....

KJ is doing the right thing by challenging PAP with the rule of law that PAP pays lip service too all the time,,,this will put PAP on the defensive and he not even elected. However KJ dont have the common man touch like his dad,,but if he was like a typical PAP candidate being placed into parliament,,he can do wonders...sad,,the rules work for one but not the other,,,

I feel maybe KJ should work more with WP and assists them in the fight for Singaporeans,,combine firepower will be quite potent..but too many indian chiefs,,,,

Yeah keep on pouring cold water on the very people who are fighting for your rights and freedoms. Sinkies really deserve to be exploited. Don't always bifurcate the population into what 40% or 60% as though you losers would really want an opposition party(s) to take over the helm from the PAPzis.

Granted he is trying to elevate his position...
.

To be candid, I think it is rather late for him to engage in such an exercise.

Still. let's see whether ST reports on the press conference in tomorrow's edition.

I did not notice any coverage of the press conference in either ST or TODAY. Have they decided not to give that man any importance?
Only TOC carried a report of the press conference.

On the other hand, AGC's letter to Au was widely reported in the MSM, but TOC was silent on it. It seems new media simply preaches to the converted. But the MSM reaches millions.

The score so far:
MSM: 2
New media: 0
