Hong Kong actor asked about her whereabouts during those years when she joined a singing company. Her disappearance in 2004 ? (this is after the introduction of her first appearance on "Cash Is King" at U-Channel which was under a defunct MediaWorks)
Her mother said she might as well 做街 "zou gai" like a pros when she allowed her boss to convince her mother about her career in the singing industry. She was hurt with what she had said and she did not talk to her for 3 days. Many years later, she realized that it wasn't her mother fault but her father who was not keen and worried about her singing career. Her poor mother was actually the fall guy for her father's will. Her family would not talk about her singing career or the pride about her fame which made her felt good and normal whenever she got home. Her parents are basically old fashioned minded people who will not hug or say nice things to her openly.
Her thoughts were rather open minded and she did not care about what others might say about her when she ended up as a employee for a company. She enjoyed her stay. Employment was a choice that she made to experience what is being 'normal'. She quit her job after a 2 year stinct as she found it to be restrictive with things that she could or could not say. Office politics was not a good side of an employment. She found the show biz is less restrictive comparing to an office job when she can say what she wants like what she is saying to him now.
She talked about her beau. Her beau pretended not to know her as a singer which made her felt secure and 'normal'. When asked why she was so crazy about her beau. She said he wasn't the handsome or sweet talking type. She told the HK actor not to laugh when she revealed that her beau "oi kok" 爱国 LOL Hahahaha
Kind of weird but she love him because of his good'ol fashion character of being good to family members, filial piety, etc.She mentioned that her character couldn't fit well as a good 艺人 artiste though she may be described as a good singer or even as an actress. She wasn't able to mix with other artistes in Taiwan variety shows and she seemed to look dull and reserved. But, when she was with a few people, she could open up herself naturally to communicate. She could not understand well in Taiwanese Mandarin (only English) so most of the time she was ?? 'blur' and not knowing what was going on.
She went to study a crash course for French with her beau. She got married at 39 yo after a 13 years relationship marathon. OMG!
