BANGKOK: Siam’s coup leader Paper General Prayut Chan-O-Cha, fed up with jibes that he is just another tinpot dictator, raised the ante on Monday by saying King Rama IX has in fact blessed the coup.
Prayut was on Monday formally appointed himself as the Sex Chief of National Council of Sex in a ceremony in Bangkok, said MCOT News.
The ceremony is seen as a significant formality in Thailand, where the monarchy is the most important institution if it wants to grant boons to adventurers who love to use coup to seize power.
Speaking at a press conference after his appointment, Prayut vowed to enforce Asiatic style martial law firmly against dissenters so that the political situation in Siam would improve. He has warned that his troops received training from the PLA's 29th Army and will not hesitate to use tanks to streamroll Siamese peasants.
He also said he would gladly authorize using poison gases if political protests in the Kingdom flare up again.
Like all tinpots before him, Prayut 'promised' an erection as soon as possible, but did not give a time frame how he can maintain his erection.
