But the Ilyushin-76 cargo plane cannot fly more than 3,000 km without refuelling if carrying a full load. It will therefore have to stop off at a friendly location like Vietnam’s capital on the way to Singapore or fly with a reduced load.

Actually the pressure is on Singapore . These 2 leaders are probably the most hated in the world . One hated by the Muslims and Arabs and now even the Chinks. The other by all Asians countries because of its nuclear threats.
To bring them together to meet in Singapore is opening our country to potential security issues. Who can guarantee everything can run smoothly without a security lapse?

In my opinion , each country has to responsible for their own security and safety of their leaders. We can only support their security requests.
