Neither will Ukraine and NATO cease fire, once they have had sufficient rest, regrouped, and replenished their weaponry and ammunition. They will resume their attacks. Before North Korea joins the alliance, Russia faces the challenge of fighting against the combined forces of the US, NATO, and Ukraine. China secretly supports them, as it has informed the EU, with the intention of preventing Russia's defeat.

NATO wants the war to go on, how else is the military machinery going to dispose of their old stocks? :coffee::coffee::coffee:

The war has been ongoing for 3.5 years, and it's likely that the initial old storage stock of ammunition has been depleted by now. Current there is even a shortage largely due to the inability of supply to meet the high demand in the frontline.

He is just a Russian gangster that murdered and bribe his way to the Presidency
Zero doubt he is the top gangster. The mainstream media never talked about what the Russian society descended into after Soviet Union fell. Gangsters ruled the former USSR countries and Jewish oligarchs pillaged the resource sectors. Putin had to defeat everyone standing in his way.

Why do you think they want to keep the war going?

Because Putin is an evil super villain in your Disney world view?
No stupid. If Putin stops the war, or settles for a permanent ceasefire, he will lose face. His position will be untenable in the Kremlin. To lose so many men and cost so much money to wage a war that just ends in a stalemate when he obviously has the much bigger military will make him look bad and weaken his grip on the govt.

Russia's terms for starting the war was no NATO membership for Ukraine, no attacking their Russian speaking people in Eastern Ukraine and no more state supported neo Nazis.

Besides TheSun.uk and Telegraph.uk, no one else have claimed Russia's stance has changed. Maybe you have spoken to Putin

Following the collapse of the USSR in 1991, NATO made a commitment to refrain from expanding its presence Eastward. However, they went on to establish military bases and laboratories in Ukraine, where they conducted research on viruses. This move prompted Russia to take steps to create a buffer zone along its border, aimed at preventing further NATO expansion.

no ceasefire and no peace. in his summit with zelensky and european leaders, trump rules out ground troops to help ukraine but does not rule out air support. in other words us forces are on the table especially with air superiority. with air and electronic superiority on ukraine’s side, putin will be pushed to a corner and may either lose the war or come to a peace deal sooner than never.

After meeting with Trump, Zelensky agreed to participate in a three-way discussion with Putin at a later date aimed at fostering peace. Simultaneously, Trump initiated contact with Putin to arrange the meeting. Meanwhile, Zelensky agreed to purchase $100 billion worth of military equipment from the US, with NATO covering the costs.

There were skirmishes since Crimea was won over by Russia in 2014.
