Kiasu S'poreans are at it again: They queue for hours to buy half-price Starbucks coffee

sporeans_do_it_again_long_queue_for_half_price_starbucks_coffee-thumbnail.jpg

Long queues were spotted at two Starbucks outlets today, all because of a half-price coffee deal. STOMPer K, who saw the crowd at Starbucks Fusionopolis, says: "Honestly, the lengths Singaporeans would go to to save some money."

Just like the Starbucks deal, people were previously seen queuing all over Singapore just to get their hands on $1 Burger King burgers.

STOMPer K says:

"These pictures were taken at Fusionopolis today at 3.30pm.

"There are close to a hundred people thronging the Starbucks here, just for a half-price coffee deal.

"The crowd consists mostly of students, but there are plenty of working adults too.

"Three-hour queue to save three dollars."

STOMPer maclover, who was at the Clementi branch of Starbucks, adds:

"The crowd at Clementi Starbucks consisted of students.

"They queued for about an hour for the coffee deal.

"I had gone to Starbucks with the intention of grabbing some c

As far as I am concerned, Starbucks is a costly high-end place for a cuppa. Signs of a super affluent society. Or a totally valueless one.

Cheers!

They should be named Local Trashes

They can afford to queue for a long time because they have very low wages anyway and their time is worthless
