No lah. SPF don't take Malaysians as their Junior Officers. It's the Singapore Prisons Service who recruit Malaysians as their Junior Officers and the ones who joined the Prisons Service are mostly Malaysian Kelings. SPEAR the so called Prisons Elite Unit were mostly Malaysians back then in 90s and early 2000s. Back then Prisons Service no choice had to recruit Malaysians since they were considered the poor cousins to the SPF and they were unable to attract local Sinkies to join them. And local Sinkies mostly preferred joining the SPF instead of Prisons Service due to the glamour of the job.
