Vivian the Chindian only know how to collect his sports minister multi million dollar salary and cannot identify real talent. I guess we have to expect as much. If you have no talent yourself, how do you identify sports talent? The Chindian happily spends $600 million on YOG, and than $ millions more to bribe sports talents to change nationality and represent singapore. If you have to spend millions $ and offer $1 million for Gold medal, u better get some real talent, not bronze medal talent. I had to look it up on the map to even find out where it was. It has low education rate, a GDP of only $10,000 (less than half of singapore), etc. However, their sports minister is able to recruit not one, but 2 gold medal winning weightlifters from China. WTF. How can 3rd world poorly paid sports ministers OUTPLAY first world highest paid sports minister? Even worse, They only pay $250K for a gold medal whereas we pay $1 million, and yet these weightlifters more than happy to win gold for them. But China's official state news agency begs to differ. Chinshanlo, according to Xinhua news service, was born as Zhao Changling in the Hunan province of China, and was given dispensation to move to and compete for Kazakhstan as recently as 2008. Zhou Junfu, of the Hunan Weightlifting Association, insisted that the lifter had competed and trained with that association until her switch.

Firstly, the Olympic profile for Chinshanlo states that she was born in Almaty, the biggest city in Kazakhstan. To add to the confusion, Xinhua says the competitors are members of China's Dungan minority. However, the Dungan primarily reside in the most remote areas of the country, and many also live in both Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, with border controls in the mountainous regions virtually impossible to monitor.
In Kazakhstan, the feeling is that China is unfairly trying to poach some of its glory.

"The women are Kazakh, they are from Kazakhstan, they live in Kazakhstan, they won gold medals for Kazakhstan," team spokesman Mendihan Tapsir told Yahoo! Sports.
