Karikal Lane in Katong became very famous after The Sunny Ang Murder Case in 1963.

Sunny Ang was found guilty and sentenced to death and he was hanged on 6th Feb 1967.

Prosecutor was LKY's blue-eyed boy Solicitor General Francis Seow.
