The town of Margaret River in Western Australia is reeling after an overnight tragedy that has left four children and three adults dead.
Homicide squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of seven people in Osmington, near Margaret River.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of seven people in Osmington, near Margaret River.
About 5.15am police were called to a residence near the south west town in WA.
Upon arrival officers found seven people dead– three adults and four
children.
Specialist units from Perth, including the Homicide Squad and Forensic Crime Scene Unit,
have been sent to the scene.
Police are expected to remain at the residence for an extended period of time.
Two firearms have been found, but at this point police say there are no concerns about wider public safety.
WA Police Commisioner Chris Dawson said this morning a “significant tragedy" had unfolded, one he could only describe as "horrific".
“It is still very early in this investigation, but we do know it is a significant tragedy," he said.
“This devastating tragedy will no doubt have a lasting impact on the families concerned, the communities and our staff in the south west.”
The police chaplain has been called to attend the scene of the tragedy.
