Looks like the PAP, the state controlled press have gone to ground on such an important national issue. If there is nothing to hide or feel that a money lender is a worthy grassroots leader leading the apex political body in a constituency they must come out and say so. They must convince Joe public why.

Albeit, there is a distinction between illegal and legal money lending, we all know that the parties play on both sides. The Govt has not been able to control these activities since it went rogue in the late 80s.
