Anyone familiar with this project? Its near Jurong East MRT. Its been a vacant land for a number of years and honestly quite an eye sore but heard that the development is going to start very soon. anyone has any information??

The story goes like this.....

Long, long ago...a burmese couple came to Singapore and rent a shop in Peninsular Plaza....

Start doing biz with its own people and supply logistic support for ships making calls here..

They boom and list their co..TT int"l.... ( TT is their Burmese name initials)
Got the Akira rights to sell the electronic stuff ..

Somehow along the line, money got lost...n suffer a big hole in their P n L..
Not long ago, 2 white knights wanted to come in to help this Burmese general daughter but back out..

Now, still waiting for another white knight to come..
No one blame EDB for not doing a better screening process in picking them for the Big Box project. ( did EDB exercise due dilligence..?)

So ..what u have now is creditors eyeing the piece of prime land which is vacant and an eyesore for many years...

..Watch their share price....for the second part of the story....

Hear before going build hospital there to relief overpack IMH at hougang.patients at jurong also rapily increse alot.

Hospitals are nearby, right in front of IMM is going to be Ng Teng Fong Hospital and the Jurong Community Hospital, these hospitals are already under construction. So is the JEM and Westgate shopping mall. The vacant land is diagonally across JCube and directly opp JEM, I noticed there are construction office already build on the sites and seeing some trucks moving is liao.
Also heard from friends this company has money from rich local businessmen to kick start the project. anyone has info???
