The Bali Nine is the name given to a group of nine Australians arrested on 17 April 2005, in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, in a plan to smuggle 8.3 kg (18 lb) of heroin valued at approximately A$4 million from Indonesia to Australia. Andrew Chan, Si Yi Chen, Michael Czugaj, Renae Lawrence, Tan Duc Thanh Nguyen, Matthew Norman, Scott Rush, Martin Stephens and Myuran Sukumaran, all aged between 18 and 28 at the time of their arrests,faced the death penalty or life in prison if convicted.

Aussies' got the Indons to thank for stopping the 8.3kg of heroin from entering into their country.

Which drug lord did LHL's system kill? By far, those executed were small time mules. This was in no small part because the laws encouraged CNB to go after these than the drug lords.

They should be executed long ago. Why waste more than 10 years of taxpayers' money to feed them in jail? The money could have gone to looking after the poor Indonesian children that their drug-taking parents made them to suffer because of these drug-traffickers who are making money out of other's misery. Jokowi has done well to learn from the Singapore experience. It's good to learn from Singapore - but don't back-peddle like Singapore authorities who do so because of irrational pressure from its own citizens.
