Joint message from CPSA and ACP regarding inappropriate prescribing and dispensing of ivermectin to treat or prevent COVID-19

I have a Malaysian friend whose son studied medicine in India (i know i know). Not mbbs but post-grad thing. The son just returned to MY after exams. The son shares while outside the exam hall, he chatted with the indian candidates and asked about ivermectin. They all kind of laughed politely and said they dropped the treatment a long while back at the peak of covid season as it didnt work. Make of that what you will knowing the indians usually try all kinds of doses, approaches etc with unlimited patients.

It doesnt matter what doctors think these days.

Patient autonomy is most important.

Drs job is more non maleficence make sure dont help patient do things that will harm themselves only.

If they want to harm themselves they can. Just that dr must not have a part in that. And if patient dont listen dr must write long long long story document how they talk and talk and tell patient please dont dont dont is dangerous bad etc. But patient still go do. Too bad.

NUH did trials in the early days too. Epic fail. All the covid patients fell even more sick.

Trial abandoned

Covid affected only several state in india. Not all.
The people of uttar Pradesh with a population of 220 million is the most affected,
The health officials distributed a pack containing ivermectin, hydroxycholoquine to each and everyone and information usage.

The covid cases stsrted to decline soon after as explained.

That's what every IMH resident says.
You're sure you're never diagnosed?
All these you spouting, is someone in your head telling you to do it?

Childish provocation. You should come up with better if your mental capacity allows .

Doubt it
