Yesterday I was reading a Malaysian newspaper ad for part-time & full-time cleaners for the F1 races in Spore

These job are paying RM$1,400 to RM$2,800 for Malaysians willing to work in Spore, transport will be provided from JB to Spore.

If ads for Spore jobs are run in Malaysian newspapers, how are Sporeans going to know about these jobs

Don't bother looking for jobs if you are above 40 years old in Sinkapore

Got any scan of the newspaper? Should go and post this on Stomp

I didn't see an age requirement for the job

Even if an old man like LKY is qualified for a job as a cleaner one wonders how he's going to get such an easy jobs, if the ads only appear in Malaysia

ya,talking abt this, i have alredy stopped looking for jobs even on Sat' classifieds and career section. I am looking for jobs based on previous working relationships and to bnak on my existing network,*keeping my fingers crossed*, hope that something will work out this time.

I'm sure there are many such ads appearing in foreign newspapers in Philippines, Malaysia, India, US, ... Maybe that's one of the reasons why Malaysian newspapers are banned from being sold in Spore.

I always thought those thousands of Malaysians entering Spore were working in the factories but after I read that ad I started wondering about all those other jobs being taken up by these "talents"
