A manager at a girls bar and one of his female staff were arrested after they allegedly forced a fellow colleague to sleep with over 400 men in three months.

According to Tokyo Reporter, the 27-year-old victim had started working at the bar in September 2024.

She had allegedly been hit with a champagne bottle by the manager, Maoya Suzuki, who yelled at her for achieving poor sales.

While Suzuki has denied the allegations of pimping out his worker, the female staff, Kazuya Tano, has admitted to the charges.

She apparently monitored the GPS location of the victim using a small device.

Tano and Suzuki also reportedly beat the staff member up if she was not soliciting for customers near the park.

This was done through the GPS tracking.

After they allegedly beat her up, they would bring her back to the bar.

According to Asahi Shimbun, the staff member was forced to have sex with up to 13 men a day, and would earn 1.98 million yen (S$17,022) a month.

Most of the money would reportedly go to Suzuki and Tano.

The crime only came to light when police questioned the victim after her arrest in July on suspicions of violating the anti-prostitution law.

The woman reportedly said that she was "physically and mentally exhausted" and did not have the strength to run away.

She was found with over 20 bruises, and the police believes she had been subjected to regular violence.
