California stringent emission laws stopped older lorries from taking containers and cargo from its ports causing a 50 ship traffic jam waiting to discharge.
One big ship consume maybe 1-2MT of diesel just waiting burning fossil fuel snd polluting the californian seaside just in case their politicians do not know it. And some cargo contains perishable goods which will go bad emitting even more green house gases.
Waiting ships causes more delays elsewhere at other ports as these ships fail to load their cargo 9n time.

I think its a daily affair in the US. Its just tbat mos5 victims are ftom the lower class so not worth reporting.
During Clinton's time till early 2000's, crime snd killings were in decline.

Reason for decline is simple. Abortion was legalised and 18 years later, rates started to fall.
