Actually, it was the message conveyed that is important. Why did the jews go against jesus? because there was a jewish religion and jesus was against any form of evil and tyranny, especially under religious guise. Religion enslave the people. and jesus was there to set them free.
In todays world, it is doctrines such as communism and capitalism.or even Kim'ism in the case of north korea, or PAP'ism in our case.
