Wow, not only do you need to rewrite the Bible, you would need to rewrite history too. Anymore CSI you have done on other historical persons who are not what they were? Or only targeted at the Christian faith?

During those days, no one would be interested to write a story based on the Roman Empire into a Jewish story. Neither the Romans nor the Jews.

Even so, I think the attempt to identify Jesus with this Julius can be easily dismissed as it holds no water at all.

Unlikely. The Jews had always wanted freedom from their strings of foreign rulers and would have no part in glorifying them. The Romans had despised their captives and no Roman author in the right mind will do that.

My point was that in either scenario, whether interested to record or not, the attempt to say Jesus=Julius is hogwash.
