AN elderly woman was found dead on the tracks at the Clementi MRT station on Tuesday morning, disrupting train services on the East-West line for more than two hours.
The woman is believed to be a 71-year-old Chinese.

Singapore Civil Defence Force said it recieved a call about the incident at 6.18am.

SCDF officers found the body lying under the third carriage of the train and had to manually extricate it

The woman was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 6.57am.
