Girl, 15, missing for 2 years found alive; claims held captive by man

A 15-year-old girl who went missing in 2014 in Saitama Prefecture was found in Tokyo on Sunday afternoon, taken into protective custody, and then later reunited with her family, police said.
The girl is from Asaka, Saitama Prefecture. She had no injuries when she was found, according to investigative sources.
A first-year middle school student when she went missing in March 2014, the girl told police that she had been kept captive by a man, and police are looking for his whereabouts.
The girl called for help by making an emergency call from JR Higashi-Nakano Station in Nakano Ward, Tokyo, after noon on Sunday, according to investigative sources. She was wearing a jersey and sandals when she was found by police officers who came from Nakano Police Station.
The teenager's identity was confirmed with the student ID card she was carrying, sources said.
The girl was able to make the call after she was left alone by the man who had been keeping her captive, police quoted her as saying.
The teenager disappeared after leaving school. A note saying, "I want to be away from school and home for a while" was left in the mailbox of her family's house, according to the Saitama prefectural police.
