Fukushima monthly fallout now 10 times higher than last September !
''The spent 460 tons of nuclear fuel pool of the No. 4 reactor at the stricken Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant will collapse.''
- Experts from within and outside Japan have pointed out since the massive quake struck and also sources within the government.
The worse-case scenario drawn up by the government includes not only the collapse of the No. 4 reactor pool, but of spent fuel rods from the plant’s other reactors and Tokyo would be forced to evacuate.
### With corrosive sea water pumped into the reactor, the soundness of the structure (concrete corrosion and deterioration) was questionable and earthquake resistance as well and since fuel rod removal will take three years, will the structure remain standing for that long with earthquakes of level-5 on the Richter scale continuing to occur in the Tohoku and Kanto regions. ###
### The entire Unit 4 building is listing including the pool with steel jacks underneath the pool to try to keep the floor from falling out or the pool from flipping over. If that cooling is lost, it will be a few hours at most before that waste is on fire outside of any radioactive containment. They would be direct releases of 100% cesium-137 into the environment. ###
### Cooling water at the plant's No. 2 reactor is just 0.6 meter from the bottom of the reactor's containment vessel that encases the fuel rods, far below the 10 meter-level estimated by officials that declared the plant stable in December. ###
### Investigations found current radiation levels of 72.0 Sieverts inside the containment vessel, enough to kill a person in a matter of minutes, as well as for electronic equipment to malfunction. ###
### Two other badly damaged reactors -- Nos. 1 and 3 -- are in even worse condition. Hydrogen explosions blew out the outer walls of those reactors, and more nuclear fuel has breached the containment vessel at the No. 1 reactor than the others. ###
### Radiation levels inside Fukushima's reactor 2 have reached fatally high levels, and levels of water are far lower than previously thought, radiation levels are so high that even robots cannot enter. ###
