The IRs will not solve S'pore problems. It will not be a fix-all. It's TOO late.

Do you see Japan going into overdrive to open itself for new citizens?

In fact Japan faces a BIGGER low birth rate problem than Singapore.

Bringing in more citizens when already there is EMPLOYMENT PROBLEMS is a BETRAYAL not only to your own citizens but to the new citizens as well. Let's see how many head home or to greener pastures in the hard years ahead.

BTW, can someone highlight to me these NEW citizens I/C numbers begin with what? This so i don't accidently employ one.

So obviously, bringing in new citizens is just not to solve low rate problems. There are other reasons behind the move.

The EASIEST way to solve Singapore's low birth rate is to bring down the costs of living...which they are unwilling to do.:oIo:

Sometime in the no too distant future, a NEW history book on Singapore would have to be written. "Heroes of today" WILL be "Villains of Tomorrow".

FYI !Red the highlighted part in red.

Main article: Aging of Japan

Like other postindustrial countries, Japan faces the benefits as well as potential drawbacks associated with an aging population. While young populations such as those in sub-Saharan Africa inevitably face problems of crime, poverty, and underdevelopment, older populations enjoy a much higher quality of life. In 1989, only 11.6% of the population was 65 years or older, but projections were that 25.6% would be in that age category by 2030. However, those estimates now seem low given that 21.2% (as of April 2007) are already 65 and over, now the world's highest. The change will have taken place in a shorter span of time than in any other country.

Above is about Japan's low birth rate. Do you see the Japanese prostituting themselves? NO!

Why? Because the Japanese have REAL intelligent leaders not pseudo-intelligent ones. They have cleverly mapped out their strategies for their country. It is a SIMPLE strategy. Leave the private companies and enterprises alone. Do not compete or steal from them. And they do not need IRs. Japan have NO Casinos.

Low birth rate ???

Lower PAP votes percentage is the rationale !!!

66% cannot win more overseas dirty money, 75% will !

learn from the natives, they know how to make more babies, why the silence ?

winning votes is the main issue, damn the consequences.

see the fuckin' ruse !!!

All along I am against Casino, but the PAPpies kept insisting on opening them. There's only one reason that I can see in this Casino.

Money laundering. Washed dirty money and made them clean to be used. They the PAPpies can say what they want by setting up regulations to stopped money launderer business, but I can say is that it is not easy to stopped them.

WHo knows, maybe the PAPpies need to wash some dirty money as well. I heard from source that our PAPpies did export weapons to Burma for the soldiers to use on their own citizens. It is true, as I have friends who worked with the Burmese General and there was once a shipment came from Singapore and lots of soldiers were there to safeguard the ship and cargo. And the General says it's weapons inside the cargo.

Since PAPpies have US dollars paid to them from the Burmese General, so the PAPpies need to wash the money too. So the most convenient place to wash their money is their own Casinos, right?
