A man threw a pair of scissors at an acquaintance of his after they got into an argument over donated clothing at a chapel. As a result, the victim, a 58-year-old man, had a cut on his left cheek. On 19 Sep, Tan Kay Leong, 46, was jailed for 22 weeks after he pleaded guilty to voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means, and a separate charge of shop theft.

After the police arrested the culprit Tan Kay Leong, they found the scissors, paper and stone in his possession. LOL!

Did the culprit steal the scissors from this curry rice stall?

If these 2 were god fearing Christians then I worry….
If you had read The Straits Times report, you will know that the 2 men are part of Bless Community Services’ programme for the homeless, which is extended to the less fortunate belonging to all religions.

1 cheapskate want to undercut another person. Rejected buay song thinking it only donated clothing. Then threw scissors to vent frustration.

I have seen 2 women tussle over a pair of branded jeans at a sale in SG, pulling and tugging at the same piece of discounted clothing of presumably their size. Low SES disputes at sales do happen when a deal appears too good to be missed; what more at charity giveaways.
