  1. 谷歌的围棋人工智能AlphaGo(阿尔法狗)以3:0的比分大胜围棋世界排名第一的柯洁九段;
  2. 无人驾驶汽车已经累计行驶300万公里的行程;
  3. 亚马逊预计在3年内开设3000家无人零售店;

5286f7729c394d43a41fd9256f49cdc6.jpeg

a. 重复性劳动,特别是在相同或非常相似的地方完成的工作(如手机组装、家电制造、缝纫等流水线工作);

b. 有固定台本和对白内容的各种互动工作(如客户服务、电话营销等);

c. 相对简单的数据分类,或思考不到一分钟就可以完成识别的工作(如文件归档、考试打分、名片筛选等);

d. 在某公司一个非常狭小的领域工作(如银行理财产品的电话推销员、某部门的会计等);

b. 需要与人沟通的工作。比如心理医生和幼儿教师;

Ma Yun: Don't force your child to do the problem. Your child will not find a job in the next 30 years!
2018-11-14 07:06
father
/
teacher
/
profession

At the Big Data Summit in Guizhou, Ma Yun again spoke amazingly, he said:

In today's society, if we continue the previous teaching methods to remember, recite, and count these things for our children, let the children not experience, play, and not let them try to play chess and painting. I can guarantee that the children can't find a job after thirty years.

"Because they can't compete with machines, artificial intelligence."

1. Does artificial intelligence really have such a big impact?

Parents, if you feel that the impact of artificial intelligence on children in the next 30 years is still empty, then please think back:

Two years ago, paper media in various places stopped publishing. No one could have thought that the newspapers that existed in public institutions would have said no. The long-term boring writing style of many journalists and editors makes it difficult for them to survive in the job market. Only a handful of people who can really do in-depth coverage or adapt to new media writing can take a share.

Let's take some more examples of time:

Google's Go AI AlphaGo (Alpha Dog) beat the world's No. 1 Ke Jie nine-segment in the world with a score of 3:0;
The driverless car has accumulated a total of 3 million kilometers of travel;
Amazon expects to open 3,000 unmanned retail stores within three years;
Alipay has now used smart customer service to successfully increase the self-service rate to 97%.

When a wave crosses the border, a group of people will be photographed on the beach. The next big wave that can be foreseen now is artificial intelligence after more than a decade.

I remember reading a science fiction movie before. The movie was set in 2060. The robots in it evolved and eventually produced consciousness and emotion. Finally, I wanted to kill the humans who created them. ! Of course, this is just the selling point of the movie, and it doesn't make us really fear. The unemployment tide that artificial intelligence is about to trigger is the reality that we should really feel threatened.
Second, which work will be replaced by artificial intelligence?

A 2013 study by the University of Oxford showed that 50% of current jobs are in a state of high risk of disappearing.

1. Low-tech work

a. Repetitive work, especially in the same or very similar places (such as mobile phone assembly, home appliance manufacturing, sewing and other assembly lines);

b. Various interactive work (such as customer service, telemarketing, etc.) with fixed-table and dialogue content;

c. Relatively simple data classification, or thinking less than a minute to complete the identification work (such as document filing, exam scoring, business card screening, etc.);

d. Work in a very small area of a company (such as a telemarketer of a bank wealth management product, an accountant in a department, etc.);

e. Work without extensive face-to-face communication with people (such as sorting, assembly, data entry, etc.).

2. Some middle class jobs

a. Journalist. For news with fixed patterns, as long as artificial intelligence is used to capture data and images, a real-time report will be released. In fact, as early as 2014, the Associated Press began to use smart software to write profit reports. Each quarter, 3,000 reports were completed by artificial intelligence.

b. Correct the teacher. By learning millions of essays and corresponding scores in depth, artificial intelligence will soon be able to master the routines for correcting essays. Think about it, a teacher can read 10,000 essays in the past forty years, and it seems that the artificial intelligence of reading millions of essays in just a few minutes seems more experienced. And indeed experiments have shown that the scores given by artificial intelligence are almost exactly matched with human teachers.

That is to say, the now hot and prosperous profession may become embarrassing in an instant.

How do children grow up after ten or more years?

If you want to be replaced by artificial intelligence, you should consider two aspects when choosing a major:

1. Designing artificial intelligence work

The work of designing artificial intelligence is well understood, and it is now the two major disciplines of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and some of the majors related to it.

The development of artificial intelligence will lead to a large number of machines replacing people's work, resulting in a large number of unemployment, but at the same time new jobs will be created. Like Amazon's unmanned retail stores and tea-rich self-service tea rooms, although there is no need for clerk, cashier and other positions, but also generated big data back-end support, technical maintenance, maintenance and debugging positions.

Therefore, "programming from the doll" is not an empty slogan, but a popular trend.

For programming, you can refer to the article:

Programming into the college entrance examination, enjoy a drop of 30 points and guaranteed to Peking University Tsinghua treatment!

2. Work that AI cannot do

a. Work that requires creativity, aesthetics, and emotional support. Such as science, engineering, art, architecture, education, medical and other industries. Big to scientists, small to hairdressers. There is room for innovation in many areas, as long as we have a sense of innovation, and this is the ability that artificial intelligence cannot replace.

b. Work that needs to be communicated with people. Such as psychologists and preschool teachers;

c. Work that requires complex logical thinking. For example, journalists who plan to piece together information will be eliminated, but they can dig out in-depth reports on the causes and backgrounds of the event, but they cannot be digitized and standardized by artificial intelligence.

4. How can parents guide their children now?

A person may no longer only do one kind of work in his life, but has to circulate in different jobs. Therefore, rather than choosing a major, perhaps the more fundamental approach is to cultivate some core competencies that can be constantly changed: innovation, communication and independent thinking.

1. Innovation:

a. Inspire your child's curiosity about the world. For example, parents can ask the child "What might happen if it rains tomorrow?" "What should we do if our car is broken on the way home?" "Whether possible problems can often inspire children's creative thinking." At the same time, you can also buy some creative story books and picture books for your children.

b. Encourage your child to think more about things. We can often use the "why", "what", "where", "who", "when", and "how to do", that is, five W-H design problems. Let the child think more deeply about a simple question.

2. Communication:

a. Create a good family environment. In the family, we should create a democratic, equal, and harmonious atmosphere of communication. Let the child have the opportunity to participate in the family discussion, the child can participate in the discussion, let him dare to express his own ideas, have the opportunity to speak.

b. Let the children solve the problem themselves. When the child and the little friend have friction, the parents see it, don't go to help first, but let the child negotiate first.

3. Independent thinking ability:

a. Do not tell the child the answer directly. Children are young and always want help from their parents when they encounter difficult problems. They want to know the answer directly. A smart parent who faces a child's problem is not telling the child the answer, but teaching the child how to solve the problem. For example, if there is no video in the TV series at home, Dad can let the children go to see if it is a power problem or a TV drama itself.

b. Discuss the problem with your child. When a child wants a parent to ask a question, the parent has to discuss it with the child, the child will ask more questions, and at the same time patiently explain to the child, and often ask questions to the child. Your child's brain will be active and will continue to think in order to find the answer to the question.

I hope that at the time of another wave, when artificial intelligence acts as a screw, our children can ride the wind and break the waves and skyrocket. Go back to Sohu and see more

When mircowave was invented, the lunch package food was introduced in abt 1989 period.

It claimed workers are busy at work and no time to go lunch at restaurants and hawker centres during lunch break.

This idea of buying cooked food package was from stupid highly educated chao angmoh Harvard students thnking how the future of lunch will be using mircowave.

More better creative hakwer foods and centers are developed and beat the mircowave food package biz idea.

Those who go into package food manufacturing loss millions of dollars and the industry collapsed in 3 years.

AI robots will be the same like mircowave technology no one is using today.

Fake news from Jack Ma.

Fake news from Jack Ma.

Fake news?
How can the news be fake when Mr Jake Ma did deliver the presentation at a specific date, time and place?
Did the report twist or change any of Mr Jack Ma's delivery?
It was a thought-provoking sharing by the speaker.
We can agree or disagree with the content of the speaker but the news article is accurate and true.
Fake news is a phrase that is loosely used by people of authority to Fit and Fix their hidden agenda.
It should never be allowed to be misused or abused.
Hence the importance of critical thinking and it should rightly belongs to the individual.

Point of clarification:

Mr Jack Ma was referring to TODAY's 'obsolete' education system and how 'ineffective and inappropriate' teaching and learning are conducted.
He is suggesting that knowledge and skills acquired today are NOT future ready or applicable.
He did not prescribe not studying or schooling.

Actually esp in sg case it's all about command and control..why can't some entity take the nus ntu or sum uni etc curriculum and teach it at poly level..So that one can save time and with more time can decide whether to be salaried or self employed

The stupidity of our arrogant and $$$elf-serving LEEders. They want control and to do it themselves. A 'big' country wanted Singapore model of governance and legal system. Many ASEAN countries wanted our ITE model and curriculum. The LEEders rejected arrogantLEE. Otherwise, many Singapore companies and Singaporeans would be deeply rooted in China and ASEAN neighbours.

LOL..These educational institutions form their own business arms...whatever International. This is their $$$elf-$$$erving version of the Singapore Inc!
