Couldn't agree more. Be careful what you wish for. If you thought the PAPpies were bad, wait till SDP come into power. If the socialists want to donate half of their earnings i.e 50% income tax to the poor and elderly, by all means do so. Just don't expect me to follow suit. Egoism > Altruism.

What I were saying was that the top income tax rate would be raised to circa 50% just to satisfy the SDP's unthinking acquiescence to Western ideology. If you truly care for the sick and vulnerable among us, you would help them, with or without onerous taxes and redistributive policies. But you don't, do you? What you want is to free-ride on the largesse of the rich. You want to help the poor, using other people's money. You want the government to take care of you, using other people's money. Because helping others is the right thing to do, isn't it? If only you socialists really believe in it.
