even 3rd world country like China has Alibaba ..
Creaf was close but not counted as he was hindered by the graduate elites..

since then, NASDAQ hit all time high in the midst of an unprrsedented crisis...yet so much wealth created in tech...

where is sinkie

so PAP gov fail

somewhat, blame the edu and culture here; to b honest.

But then, when they sent Military scholars, they came out tops.

Private wealth is outside the scrutiny of anyone. Ho Jinx is worth ????

You want innovation, you'll have to discard the totalitarian shithole nonsense.

Look at Taiwan, see how it flourished after discarding the Chiangs' tyranny. Look at South Korea. Without Taiwan and South Korea, the world's technology will grind to a halt. Without Sinkieland, the world will continue on without batting an eyelid.

Vietnam will be the next hotspot of economic boom... because huge political reforms were made. It isn't just 'cheap labour', the cost of labour is just a small factor. How you run the country is far more important.

Vietnamese are not so intelligent people.. More like country folks!

HK much preferred choice. ask osim and razer.

Don't expect innovation from a despotic regime. Alibaba is a bad example as it uses creative accounting to put one foot into NYSE. Now delisted as US is adamant in checking their real books.

Razer is fake tech company...just a PC hardware and handphone shop at simlim..Nasdaq will reject

Got lah, this one, supported by Temasek and Mediacorp. The three founders paid themselves very well annually and the company tanked.

Price from US$80 to US$0.20 within 2 years. Before listing DBS want to withdraw credit limit but Temasek called DBS to lend them more.

Why the heck is a sovereign wealth fund even touching private equity?

The Norway oil fund would never take that kind of risks with the nations wealth.

Why is Temasek gambling for outsized returns? Makes you wonder.

Just be thankful it wasn't listed on SGX or more retail investors will get killed.
