IT support worker jailed for criminal trespass into female toilet

SINGAPORE - An information technology (IT) support worker was jailed for three weeks on Thursday for entering and remaining in a female toilet of a school to take a video of a teenager inside the cubicle.
Wesley Kho Mui Kwang admitted to the criminal trespass charge and had the second offence of insulting the modesty of the 17-year-old taken into consideration.
The incident took place on Sept 15 at a primary school in the east where the 26-year-old Malaysian had been deployed by his employer, an IT company.
At about 11.40am that day, he saw the victim going to the toilet near the general office and followed her inside.
There was only one cubicle occupied, and he knew that the victim was inside.
He decided to take a video of her.
But the victim saw the cellphone with a red cover and black border being raised above the cubicle divider and shouted. Kho fled.
Shortly after, the victim returned to the general office and looked around for the culprit. She found Kho having a mobile phone matching the description.
She filed a police report the next day.
Kho could have been jailed for up to three months and/or fined up to $500 for criminal trespass.
