Think about it from another angle: Workers’ Party wards’ residents faced problems, other people had to help to solve problems that WP was supposed to do & all they care about is politics?

And yeah, HDB is able apolitical. That is why it goes with Shamsul to visit residents even though Shamsul is not the elected MP.
