Srinagar: Terror in the Valley continues to torment citizens and now anti-India elements are targeting police officials and citizens more and more.
Even as Jammu and Kashmir was fighting back terrorist organisations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, etc., now even the Islamic State is gathering momentum in the region.
In the latest instance of their brazen terrorist activities in the Valley, the Islamic State has released a video showing a member of the outfit brandishing a gun and attacking a traffic police official in Srinagar.
The attack, which was carried out in public, shows the absolute lack of fear of anti-terror operations that Indian security forces are carrying out clinically to wipe out terror from the Valley.
In October, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for killing a civilian in Srinagar. The street vendor, identified as Virender Paswan of Bihar, was killed after he was shot at from point blank range….
