The Albanese government confirmed last week it would continue to allow the families to return to Australia by their own means, but insisted it was not assisting their repatriation efforts.
All 11 women have now been named by the ABC, including Nesrine Zahab - the wife of Ahmed Merhi, a Sydney-born Islamic State terrorist who was sentenced to death.
