Is war in Europe expanding?

A number of drones breached the airspace of three NATO member states: Lithuania, Romania, and Poland. In Lithuania and Romania, the drones evaded detection by the respective air defense systems. In Poland, the drones failed to be intercepted, and a few targeted were destroyed. Further drones were spotted flying towards Warsaw.
At the same time, Ukraine has reportedly discovered four types of missiles, believed to have originated from unknown or in the desert, with an estimated range of between 500 and 800 kms.

Has anyone ever wondered why drones suddenly appeared out of nowhere, flying around vital locations like airports without any trace or means of tracking? Could it be a wild guess that these drones might originate from either Russia or Ukraine, possibly attempting to provoke NATO into action?
All I can think of is someone behind the scenes, displaying formidable intelligence and controlling the entire scenario.
