One must understand the background, which would been even harsher if the Malaysian Chinese were not saved by the departing British colonists. Malaysian Chinese immigrants (other than multi-generational Straits Chinese, i.e. Peranakans) had no citizenship rights during the British colonial era. Malaysia at pre-dawn to independence wanted to deport all Chinese except Peranakans. The British talked them out of that with economic and political implications too dire to bear, whatever.

Oic so if the chinese all left mudland's economy would definitely fall.

hahaha... how true - for those who buy houses in Nusajaya or Iskandar region in general and to escape the high cost of living here and "oppressive" environment.

So don't rock the boat hor. Malaysia last two seasons has been very extremely nice to us - no more threatening to cut water supply, shoot our combat planes for intruding into their airspace or send UMNO boys to Pedra Branca to protest for stealing their islands - though they still withholding selling sand for our land reclamation.

Together we must learn to co-exist. Remember what Emeritius Senior Minister said "prosper thy neighbours".

Again it goes to show that malays whether they be majority or the minority require special treatment. Man oh man.
