is it safe to do your dental across the causeway?

i just compare the price of basic tooth filling, washing and root canel.
price across the causeway is cheaper by 65% on most item.

only difference our local say must x ray this and that.
when i ask at city square , the receptionist say no need to xray..
additional cost is incurred for xray of cos.

how safe is it?
unhygienic practice etc
fuckup job
done job that dont last long enough.
inject you with drug..when you wake up, 1 of your kidney is gone.etc etc

If u wanna do crowning or tooth implant, don't mess around with those cheapo ones. Even some of the popular ones in Sinkieland are hopeless. I only go to a regular one at Tanjong Pagar. But if u are the type who needs to ask how much, then it's probably not for u. hehe

For example for just basic cleaning of your teeth. Singapore's dental charges between 80sgd to 120sgd, not adding the additional additional charges like bacteria cleansing fee of the equipment and charges 7sgd for it. Then you add another 7% GST on it. It easily set you back by 130sgd for a basic oral hygiene health care.

In Malaysia, in a ATAS housing estate area which I have visited in Johore. It cost only 100 RM and I told her that it is expensive.

That's why Singapore is doomed without the government pumping money in to run the business.

How about trying the late old man's dentist at Eu Court or the sultan of Johor dentist, Oehlers at Tangling Shopping Centre..guaranteed good but not cheap...unless one is adventurous, can try those across the causeway, in Thailand or anywhere cheap.

For root canal cleaning (RCC), you need a special machine. Most clinics don't have the machine. And it's extremely difficult to do a good job.

Normal cleaning, yes, by all means, go to JB.

When you travel across to Johor for good or for their Services, do not comment things are cheap. Just keep your mouth shut. Do what a normal local will do, compare prices and services on their local term.

One must be discerning. Businesses behave the same way throughout. They are there for maximum profit. So you can comment on their services BUT don't compare them with Singapore's standard. If they know that you are a Singaporean, they will actually price their services higher then a normal local people would pay for.

Plus do not take out your phone to calculate ... be a smart person. JB people earn Singapore dollar, spreading rumor that JB is unsafe. True, but when you know the way around. You find that these rumor mongers actually has one objective. They are there to deter people from going in, they spread rumor so that Singkie ( Knowing the nature of Singkie) will not step foot into JB if the place is unsafe.

They enjoy super low cost of living prior with x3 time salary.

Just did scaling in Pattaya today. No waiting. The dentists was able to see me immediately. The cost of cleaning is 500 baht, about SIN$20.

There are plenty of dentists. On the street where my Dentist is located there are over 5+ Dentist offices.

Why do I go to dentists in Thailand?
When I visit Thailand I have plenty of free time. There is a limit to all the yummy food, shopping, massages, haircuts, ... etc I can do.

Can you share the address of the root canal specialist?

This procedure takes at least 2+ weeks. The 1st visit is when the Dentist put in the medication. The 2nd visit is when the Dentist puts a permanent filling after determining that the medication has worked.

When I did it in Spore it cost $$$$. So I'm sure Sporeans will be interested in doing it in JB & saving $$.
