[h=2]Cabby’s widow Lim Choo Eng: We will not blame anybody[/h]Posted by temasektimes on May 18, 2012
The family of the late Cheng Teck Hock (pic left) wants to put the past behind them and move on in life.
Mr Cheng was involved in a fatal accident at Bugis last Saturday morning when a speeding Ferrari driven by PRC national Ma Chi rammed into his Comfort Delgro taxi at a junction between Rochor Road and Victoria Street.
He died of his injuries on Sunday evening, leaving behind his wife Lim Choo Eng and three children aged between 16 and 21 years old.
In an interview with Lianhe Zaobao, Madam Lim said:
“We will not blame anybody, just hope to let everything pass.”
(“不会责怪任何人,希望让一切都成为过去。”)
Madam Lim also thank members of the public for their offer of condolence and support to help the family tide over this difficult period in life.
There is still no apology or offer of compensation to the victims from Ma Chi’s family yet whose wealth is reported to be in ‘millions’ by the media.
