Don't exactly know whether it's legal or not but it most probably is as long as you don't pay for monthly fees. Indeed, I have dealt with a lot of bad products, but this one takes the cake. The service you get is nothing like what is promised. Channels stream extremely slowly and some of them may even get disconnected midway through a stream. Customer service can do nothing to help you out, and most of my requests are ignored.
If asked, I wouldn't recommend IPTV boxes to anybody.
