First we have MBT competing with other ministries and stat boards with impressive profits to please greedy old man and in doing so, he forgot about the people and their roofs....he is removed.
Second we have the Saw to cut corners to increase profits and forgotten about train maintenance and grossly neglected its under-staff situations....trains kaputed. Even mechanical stuff knows when to protest.
Just to name a few JTC,URA,PSA,NTUC and many others, I believe including hospital are excessively profits driven. Is this a healthy culture to nuture? Next, the big thing...GDP. Are we not gambling with our hard earned money on excessive external investments in the name of GDP? Do we really need one billion bowls of rice per head for our reserve?
The day will come and I sincerely hope that greedy old man is still alive witness how powerful and cruel the external force is when both GIC and Temasek are brought to their kneels.

Does "healthy" increase profits and GDP? If not, why should Singaporeans bother with it?
