take a walk in some shopping centre such as FUNAN IT MALL. it's dead!! a brief chat with some shop owners revealed the sins of the 2 IRS.
many usual shoppers now refrained themselves from their regular shopping spree preferring to save the money to gamble in the 2 IRS.
many restaurants are dead. shoppers even scrimp on dining in expensive restaurants , again to save money for their gambling vices. surprisingly, many well-attired diners could be found now in sweaty hot hawker centres instead.
when u see these group of people, presumably they must have lost big time in the casinoes
now we ask ourselves this question:
does the 2 IRs really bring in any benefits intrinsic and non intrinsic?
walk the malls, restaurants and the usual shoppers' haunts to see for yourselves the ill-effect from the IRs.
