Rubbish!!!our great LKY have often boasted and proclaimed the greatest asset of Singaporeans is the 100 percent ownership of their HDB flats,if it is not ownership then what is it?
The legal action is not suicidal. U win or u lose. U can expect to lose, but in the case of the WP, they have so many lawyers, the cost of the legal proceedings is not alot. More important then that, they would have generated publicity and got people thinking on the eve of the election. They may lose the lawsuit but win the public opinion.
look u are mixing up things between HDB and the State,HDB and the state are two different entities, two seperate governing bodies, the 99 year old lease that u negotiated and bought from HDB is between you and HDB,the property tax u pay is owed to the state government or the taxman IRAS,just like monopoly, the banker doesnt care who sold you the house or where u got ur property from or somebody go bankrupt and deed u all their titles,u pay up that means u pay up,u pay ur property taxes simple as that.
and thats the bottom line bitch!!!!
cause stone cold steve austin said so.

Yes, there is a difference between a lease and a 99-yr leasehold, though your explanation is not quite right. Please also go and read the definition of "owner" under the Property Tax Act.
Instead of making these vague statements, why don't you quote us the definition under the Property Tax Act so that everyone can read it?
hahaha....u are not only retarded....u are now behaving like a mad dog barking at everybody under the sun...including CST....The legal action is not suicidal. U win or u lose. first u are not a lawyer.....
second that there are so many senior lawyers in the oppo camp and none of them have voiced anything on this matter would simply meant that you are spouting your usual rubbish...
anybody with half a brain can see this but then it is clear u have nothing between your two ears....
with mad dog like u masquerading as oppo supporter, it is not hard to see why oppo parties only getting 30% vote....

There is no mix up. HDB is a statutory Board 100% owned by the state through The Ministry of National Development. The issue is not about the status of HDB. Your logic is flawed because You say IRAS is the state govt. IRAS is a statutory board just like HDB, except they are owned by Ministry of Finance. If you consider IRAS to be from the govt, then you must also consider HDB to be from the govt.
