Lets face it. Main reason is to turn iran into iraq and syria. BTW, both iraq and syria too suffered crippling decades of sanctions. But 7nl8ke iraq and syria, iran created their own weapons and defensive strategy. And unlike iraq and syria which are flat, iran is mountainous.

Reminder: Iran is China's client state, supplier of oil and customer of weapons and infrastructure. China is very anxious now. So the disinformation machinery from China is working doubly hard, especially in the Chinese language realm. If you have a proper understanding of what kind of country China is, this should not be surprising.
