IPv4 Vs IPv6

When I check my ip addr, I see both the v4 and v6 addr. Which one is it in used ? When will the v4 phase out ?
Can IP Man advise ?

most isp's still rely on ipv4. and a vast number of ott web servers still use ipv4.

SH, ST and M1 still using v4 ?
I think maybe they are in transition that's why I am seeing 2 ip. Do you know how to ping test to v6 since it is not in numeric numbers.

yes, right. my mobile devices are also on ipv6.
