iPad Mini On Sale Tomorrow

If you missed out on the pre-order last Friday for Apple iPad mini, fret not. The highly anticipated tablet will go on sale at retail stores all over Singapore tomorrow morning.

Technology retail stores Courts, Nubox and Challenger, will start selling Apple's first 7.9-inch tablet from 8am onwards tomorrow at their Funan DigitalLife Mall outlets. Apple reseller EpiCentre will start selling the iPad mini at 8.30am at all its stores. Other stores will start at 10am.
The iPad minis going on sale tomorrow are of the Wi-Fi versions in three different models - 16GB ($448), 32GB ($578) and 64B ($708) models. The 4G version will only start selling at a later date that is yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, the fourth generation 9.7-inch iPad will go on sale as well at the same time with iPad mini. Singapore is one of the first countries in the world to get the iPad mini and fourth generation iPad.

Under spec compared to premium 7" tablet(Samsung 7.7 has AMOLED vs no retinal display Ipad mini = Apple no fight)

Unless U are hardcore apple fan, should wait for until they at least get the retinal display on the thing

Hmm.. AhGooPad Mini how much & when come ah? maybe i buy that one to play play. I'm a bit reluctant to pay so much when i know in a year's time there'll be another sibling of the iPad family coming along!

going to get one, was going to buy the nexus 7 but i already have an android phone. Don't need another big android device

Cheapest 16GB Wifi (no 3G/4G) model retails for a whopping $448

Apple are really counting on their loyal customer base for the success of this item.
For the ordinary man in the street, they are far better alternatives for this kind of money.

Chinese tablet is quite problematic. I got confused on Root and Cannot access root, wipe out the Chinese apps and Chinese keyboard.
Also, frimware update to stop overheating the battery during charging. Those techies are so patient with perfecting their chinese tablets.

So far, office gave me iPhone, iPad2 and now Samsung Tablet Win7 PC. I threw them aside and still use my trusty WinXP notebook PC and Nokia dumbphone. And everyone wonder why I have no neckache, backache and fingerache.
