Interpol seeks S'pore suspect in million $ watch heist
The man connected to the $7.9-million Cortina heist last month is now wanted by Interpol.
Mr Jerry Ee, 35, a former employee of the watch retailer, went missing after more than 300 luxury watches were found missing over Christmas last year.
He was placed on the Interpol's "red notice" - an alert issued to Interpol's 186 member countries to seek the arrest of wanted persons for extradition.
Mr Ee, who is divorced with two children, had been with the retailer for at least four years, but was sacked by the company after the theft was discovered.
According to Interpol's website, he is conversant in Thai, English and Mandarin.
Police attempts to contact him have been futile. Staff at Cortina's Raffles City outlet discovered 386 timepieces and cash missing when they turned up for work on Dec 26 last year.
