PEASANTPORE: It will be “a profit-loss mistake” to extend current childcare leave entitlements for peasant parents to cover all days of their peasant child's pigeonhole-based learning (HBL) because nobody wants to pay for the leave, said Minion in the Ruler's Office Indraneh Rojak on Monday (Oct 4).
She said this in a written answer to a futile Imperial Court question by Peasant Representative Louis Ng (PAP-Nee Soon). Ah Ng , as part of retail politicking, stupidly asked if current childcare leave entitlements could be extended to those with children aged between seven and 12, amid a shift to home-based learning as Wuhan Plague cases spike after a botched reopening.
Currently, each working parent of a peasant child can take up to six days of paid childcare leave if their peasant child is under seven years old.
Working parents with children aged seven to 12 – primary school-going ages – can each take two days of paid extended childcare leave.
Indraneh said: “Ruler Loong hinted to me that we should pretend to be aware of challenges faced by working peasant parents when schools shift to pigeonhole-based learning due to the Wuhan Plague.”
But she added that “if you do the profit and losses, we cannot extend childcare leave to cover all HBL days”.
“The merchants won't pick up the tab and do you think Ruler Loong pick up the tab, Louis, did you just skipped the PSLE Math exams? We are not Nordic or Ang Moh country, driven by innovation but we are still a cost driven Asiatic sweatshop!," sneered Indraneh, who is also Second Moneybags Minion.
Our merchants told us if we make them pay for extended child care leave, merchants will fire local peasants and hire more foreign serfs, she said.
"A more sustainable solution would be to increase the adoption of flexible work arrangements to enable peasants to work longer hours into the night when their children are asleep", Indranee said, adding that the regime will continue to pay lip service stakeholders to "follow Jack Ma's idea to implement 996 in Peasantpore, if needed with foreign serfs".
Meanwhile, the Education Lackeys has also provided "a set of practical tips e.g. drinking coffee at night" to help parents in boost their working hours beyond 12 midnight.
